Frequently asked questions

The questions that come up most often, answered straight. If yours is not here, just ask.

How much does a website cost?

Every project is quoted in writing before any work starts, so you always know the figure up front. As a guide, a single landing page starts at £499, a standard 3–5 page site at £899, and a premium custom build from £1,499. The price depends on how many pages you need, whether you want a booking system or gallery, and how much of the content you already have ready.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. The usual arrangement is a 50% deposit to secure your slot and start the work, with the balance due on delivery. If a project is larger, it can be split across more stages instead — just ask when we talk and it will be written into your quote.

How long does it take?

A landing page is typically 3–5 working days, a standard site 1–2 weeks, and a premium build 2–4 weeks. Chatbots take 3–10 days depending on the tier. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and photos come back, so if you have a date in mind, say so early and it will be confirmed in writing.

What are AI chatbots & do I need one?

A chatbot is a assistant that sits on your site and answers customer questions instantly — your prices, your services, your process — then captures the enquiry and sends it straight to your inbox. It is worth having if you get the same questions repeatedly, or if enquiries arrive outside working hours and go cold before you can reply. If most of your work comes from repeat customers, a good contact form may be all you need.

Do you do monthly maintenance?

Yes, optionally. Maintenance runs £100–£250 per month depending on the size of the site, and covers updates, backups, monitoring and small content changes. It is never compulsory — sites are built to run perfectly well without it, and you can start or stop a plan whenever you like with 30 days' notice.

Can you improve my existing site?

Often, yes. A Website Refresh at £599 keeps your existing content and rebuilds the code underneath so the site loads faster, works properly on phones and scores well on Google. If the current site is built on a platform that is holding it back, it is sometimes cheaper to rebuild than to patch — either way you get an honest answer before you spend anything.

What do I need to provide to start?

Your logo if you have one, any photos you would like used, a rough idea of the pages you want, and your contact details for the site. If you do not have copy written, that can be handled for you. Nothing needs to be perfect at the start — gaps get filled in as the build progresses.

Is hosting & domain included?

Domain and hosting are set up for you and registered in your name, so you own them outright. Hosting for a standard site is typically free on the platforms used, and a domain costs roughly £10–£15 per year paid directly to the registrar. There is no markup and no lock-in — the site can be moved elsewhere at any time.

Still unsure? Send your question over and you will get an honest answer, no pressure.
